FAQs

Digital Program

Is Workday Rising taking place as scheduled in San Francisco?

No. We are creating a global digital experience that will bring us together to connect, share, and learn from each other this fall. In addition to hearing from customers who have faced and met complex business challenges, you’ll learn about the latest Workday innovations and gain insights and education to help your organization navigate what’s next.

Why did Workday decide to make Workday Rising and Workday Rising Europe one digital experience?

Our top priority has been the health and well-being of our employees, customers, and partners, as well as the broader community. As a result of the coronavirus (COVID-19) situation, we deemed it necessary to shift Workday Rising to a digital global experience. We’re excited to deliver an online event that will bring you the same energy you’ve come to expect, while also enabling us to engage in new, inventive ways.

What are the dates for the digital experience?

The Workday Rising digital experience takes place October 7-8 with live and on-demand content, with special interactive and educational opportunities hosted from 7:30 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. PT across both days.

Will there be a cost to attend the digital experience?

There will be no cost to attend the online keynotes and sessions.

Is Workday Rising Europe taking place as scheduled?

No. We’re excited to combine both our U.S. and Europe Workday Rising events as one global digital experience this October.

Speakers

I submitted a session proposal as part of the global Workday Rising Call for Presentations. Will you still be accepting speakers to participate in the digital experience?

Yes. The Workday Rising and Workday Rising Europe Content Teams are in the process of developing the online content strategy and catalog. We will let you know if your presentation is selected for our digital experience.

When will I hear if my session is selected for the digital experience?

We will notify you if your submission was declined or accepted in July. If your submission was accepted, we will reach out to you about participating in the Workday Rising digital experience. The Workday Rising content team will work with accepted session owners on required format changes.

What happens if my session wasn’t selected for the digital experience?

We wish we could feature all of the great content that is submitted for Workday Rising but unfortunately, the large number of submissions doesn’t make that possible. Thank you for your submission and our apologies that we are unable to offer it virtually.

Will my session be included at the 2021 conference automatically?

We will notify you when the Call for Presentations for our 2021 conference opens next year.
