How has Workday revolutionized your work day?

Whether you're new to the Workday community of customers or you've been with us for years, you're sure to have a story about how Workday has revolutionized your work day, and we want to hear it! The story could be about the first time you saw a demo, the last time you ran a report, the day you met Dave, or a fantastic memory of a past Workday Rising.

If Workday has changed your work day, record yourself on video, and send it to us. We'll pick the best(s) and thank you with grand prizes!

The Prizes

How to Enter

It's simple really. Choose a Workday experience you want to share, turn on the video camera, sit down (or stand up), and tell us your story. Your video should be no longer than one minute but should include enough detail to help us understand the importance Workday plays in your work life and career.

IMPORTANT: Be sure NOT to include any confidential information about your company, co-workers, or yourself. This is very important to everyone here at Workday, and we’ll disqualify any entry that includes this type of information. Also, please don’t include any screenshots of the Workday product in your video.

When you’re done with your entry, post it to a video sharing site like Youtube.com or Vimeo.com and send a link to videocontest@workday.com.

Remember, by creating an account and posting a video to these sites, you’re subject to their privacy policy.

August 9, 2010 - Contest opens and entries accepted.
October 1, 2010 - Contest closes. Dave and team begin reviewing and judging.

FAQ

Where do I upload my video?
Any video sharing site you’d like. Youtube.com and Vimeo.com are two popular sites.

Who will see my video?
You’re welcome to share the video with anyone. Just send them the link. The Workday Rising team will also rotate entries through the Workday Rising website video wall. Finally, Dave and his team of judges will review the videos to choose the winners.

Are there certain kinds of information that I should avoid including in my video?
Do not disclose any confidential information about your company and/or include anyone’s personally identifiable information in your video. Also, please don’t include any screenshots of the Workday product in your video.

Can I submit more than one video?
Absolutely! We hope you have more than one fantastic story to tell. Please share!

How will I know if I won?
Oh, you'll know. We'll track you down and give you a big virtual hug and a hearty congratulations.

When I win, how do I get my prize?
We will give out cameras on October 11, the first day of Rising. You will receive them when you check in at registration. If you're not coming to Rising 2010, you'll certainly be missed, but don't worry--we'll ship the Flip Mino HD camera to you.

If you win the Grand Prize, you'll receive your upgrade to a One-Bedroom Suite then when you check into the Intercontinental. Ahh... luxury.

What if I'm not staying at the hotel?
Unfortunately, the Grand Prize requires you to stay at the Intercontinental for the duration of Workday Rising. We thought about upgrading your home to a One-Bedroom Suite, but we didn't know what to do with your kitchen.
