Registration FAQ

How can I justify the cost of the conference?

While we can't put a specific value on sessions, we think we're offering quite a few that are worth the price of admission alone. Workday Rising offers so many one-of-a-kind learning opportunities and chances to learn from Workday experts and like-minded customers that the perspectives and resources you'll take back to your organization will surely deliver an outstanding return on your conference investment. Consider these advantages:

  • It's your once-a-year opportunity to spend three days focusing solely on Workday best practices.
  • You'll have the chance to provide direct feedback to help shape the future of Workday.
  • You can share your ideas and experiences to further strengthen the Workday community of customers.
  • You'll have 1:1 access to Workday experts and executives.
  • Networking, networking, networking!

Not to mention these other value-added programs and savings:

  • Discounted training workshops
  • Hotel discounted 40% off standard rate for the season
  • Food alone (including 30% tax and gratuity) is valued at nearly $600 per person (and we choose conservative menus)
  • The hotel is walking distance to BART and MUNI stations so public transportation is a viable option

Please know that Workday Rising is not a profit-making event for Workday. We make a significant investment in the event to help keep costs manageable for you.

What does the registration fee cover?

The registration fee includes access to all sessions, the Partner & Product Expo, Welcome Reception, Customer Appreciation Party, and all hosted meals. Travel and hotel costs are the responsibility of the attendee.

How can I get involved as a speaker?

Watch for a Call for Presentations prior to each conference. This year, the Call went out in May, so all speaking slots have been filled.

May I bring a guest?

Bring a guest to our Welcome Reception (Monday) and our Customer Appreciation Party (Wednesday) for $200. Register your guest during the conference registration process.

Why are prospective customers at the conference?

We invite qualified prospective customers to our conference so they can feel the buzz and learn as much as possible about Workday from you and our partners. The prospective customer program will run only on Monday and Tuesday. On Tuesday, prospects will attend the morning keynotes followed by a special track of sessions. All attendees will have a chance to meet and mingle at our Welcome Reception, during breaks, and at the Partner & Product Expo.
