Business Management: Vision, Strategy and Roadmap

The world SO does not need another ERP system. Workday Business Management is a different approach; an alternative to heavy, complex, expensive ERP for managing the enterprise. In this session, learn why the world needs this new approach and how it adds value; the guiding principles behind product concept, design, and development; and where the solutions that make up Workday Business Management – Financial Management, Business Resource Management, and Revenue Management – are heading tomorrow and beyond.
Business Process Tips and Techniques: A Customer Panel Discussion
Moderators: Lisa Faucher and Marshall Edgison, Workday
This session aims to give you an understanding of how other customers are using Workday’s configurable business process framework. Our Workday customer panel will share their practical experiences working with the business process framework, providing real-world examples on how to start defining your own business processes, and sharing their insights and lessons learned. This will be a great opportunity to ask your peers how to get the most out of the business process framework.
Change Management and User Training Panel
Moderator: Jen Phillips, Workday
Are you a Workday implementation project manager that also has been assigned the task ensuring that change management is applied to your project? Hear from other Workday customers that have been charged with building support for change management within their organizations. During this session, our customer panel will discuss what worked and what did not work for them. They will talk about how they addressed resistance to change and strategies they put in place to overcome opposition. Additionally, the panel will provide tips and techniques they used to design their own Workday custom training sessions that they rolled out to managers and employees.

This session will walk you through the pay for performance process after your performance reviews are complete. You’ll learn how to set up merit plans, associate plans with a merit increase matrix, use Workday to generate a merit increase pool based on performance results and your merit plan configuration, roll out organizational merit increase budgets to managers, propose merit increases, and review and approve merit increase proposals.

Come learn more about our enhanced time-off tracking capabilities. You’ll first see how your employees and administrators can request time off and view current balances. We’ll then show how you can configure time-off plans (including tracking paid vs. unpaid time off, eligibility, and carryover limits) for your organization using our flexible calculation engine. Finally, we’ll complete the picture with an overview of how time off is picked up by both Workday Payroll and Workday Payroll Interface.

Implementing Workday Best Practices Panel

Implementing Workday Payroll at McKee Foods
